Mary Campbell, age 78, passed away on April 16, 2025 in Winfield, Alabama. Born November 5, 1946. Mary was the 5th of 6 children of H. Melvin and Leona Walger. Mary grew up in Baltimore MD. After starting a family with Fred Campbell, Mary moved to Colorado Springs CO, where she worked at Old Colorado Stylist as a beautician. Mary was an active member in her local Lutheran church, volunteered for Meals on Wheels and regularly volunteered for the Colorado Springs’ Balloon Classic.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents, brother Melvin and sister Barbara Walger. She is survived by her siblings, Shirley Seiglien, Carole Caples, and Pat Musgrove; her children Deborah Townsend and husband JJ, son Fred Campbell Jr.; and two grandchildren Miles and Cole Franklin-Campbell.
There will be no service held, and the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Dementia Society of America.
