Mary Ann Jones age 67 of Haleyville, AL passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at her residence.
Born December 10, 1958 in Hollywood, Florida, she is the Daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy Wood Hanner. She had lived in Haleyville the past 30 years. She loved playing cards, bingo, and spending time with the family. She loved helping people and seeing the good in everyone.
She is survived by 2 Daughters, Dorothy Ramsey (Kurt) and Mary Elisabeth Hanner, A Son, James Kennedy, Grandsons, Brandon Rucks (Sandra Lee), Derek Rucks (Grace), Joseph Nunnery (Emma), Great Grandson, Carson Rucks, Nephews she loved like her own children, Carl W. Hanner, Terry Hanner (Brandy), and Robert Hanner (Tina), a host of Great Nephews and Nieces. Her children at heart, Cheyanne and Steve.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Dorothy and Carl Hanner, a Brother Carl “Gene” Hanner, a Sister In Law, Theresa Hanner and a Nephew Phillip Hanner.
Services held Thursday, March 5, 2026 at 2:00 PM from the House Of Refuge in Haleyville with Bishop Randy White officiating.
Veal Memorial Funeral Home of Guin, AL directing.
