Mary Agnes Thornton – Peoples Hall, 82, passed away the first day of spring, Sunday, March 20, 2016, at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Facility. She was born in Moulton, Alabama and lived in Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina.
Visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2016, at Rogersville Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. with funeral service to follow immediately at the graveside. Burial will be in Rogersville Funeral Home Cemetery.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by many siblings but most recently brother, Hobo Thornton.
She is survived by her children, Jerry Thornton, Darlene Peoples Stokes, Darryl Peoples, Debra Geiger, Luvenia Hall-Greydanus, Jonathan Greydanus, and Galen Hall; son-in-law, Glen James; brother, Otho; sister, Wiladean; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Julia George Hall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
