Lt. Col. (ret.) Marvin Clifford Hill (Buster), 86, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Lt. Col. Hill was born in Fayetteville, TN to James and Vinnie Hill. He later attended high school in Huntsville before playing football at Alabama and joining the Air Force. He married Peggy Stafford in 1956 and the Air Force took their family traveling the U.S., Pacific and S.E. Asia before returning to Huntsville later in life, by way of Destin, FL. He will be greatly missed by his family.
He is preceded by his wife. Survivors include son, Cliff Hill; daughter, Julie Yeadon; grandchildren, Bryan Hill, Stephen Hill, Ashley Hill, Jayden Hill, Hannah Yeadon and William Chase Yeadon.
Visitation will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 20, 2017, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home followed by the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Alabama National Cemetery.
