Mr. Brandon Tyler Jones, b.k.a. “BT”
November 28, 1989 – November 6, 2017

On Monday, November 6, 2017, Brandon Tyler “B.T.” Jones, age 28, passed away at Huntsville Hospital, in Huntsville, Alabama. He was a resident of Huntsville, Alabama at the time of his passing. BT was born in Huntsville, Alabama on November 28, 1989, to parents Hugh S. Jones, Sr., and Norma J. Jones.
B.T. enjoyed the game of soccer and was a successful soccer player, playing soccer for many years with the Rocket City Kicks and then the Huntsville Soccer Club. As part of the Huntsville Soccer Club, B.T. competed regionally. In high school, B.T. played both football and JV and Varsity basketball at Grissom High School. B.T. graduated from Grissom High School in June 2008 and went on to attend college at Shelton State Community College.

His family knew B.T. as a charismatic, confident, loving, thoughtful soul, with a fantastic wit. He had the ability to make a friend of anyone. He thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his lifelong sweetheart Andrea and their boys Crew and Cameron, whom he loved dearly. He last worked for Houston’s Resturant in Addison Texas. We will miss his keen sense of humor, his creative culinary skills, and his natural rhythm on the dance floor.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Norma J. Jones who passed in February 2015 and grandmother, Lottie Harlan Thompson who passed in 2001. B.T. is survived by his father, Hugh S. Jones, Sr.; his brothers, Hugh S. “John” Jones, Jr., and Taylor A. Jones. B.T. has 2 sons with Andera Strickland: Crew Alexander Jones and Cameron Tyler Jones; his grandparents and aunts, cousins, grandaunts, and granduncles.

The Jones family will greet guests from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017, at the Royal Chapel of Memories (4315 Oakwood Avenue NW, Huntsville, AL).

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Royal Chapel of Memories with Pastor Andre Matthews officiating. Interment will be immediately following the service in Valhalla Memory Gardens (698 Winchester Road, Huntsville, AL 35811).

Public viewing will be held from 12:00 p.m., until 8:00 p.m., Friday, November 17, 2017, and from 8:30 a.m., until service time on Saturday, November 18, 2017, at the Royal Funeral Home.
