Martha Virginia Rock Christian, 80, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, at NMMC Hospice in Tupelo. She was born December 10, 1934 to the late Thurman D. Rock and the late Martha Sue Robinson Rock. She retired from Krueger International after 25 years of service. She was a member of Lighthouse Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking for her family and making pastries for her co-workers at KI before her retirement. She also enjoyed flowers, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her Daughters: Mitzi (Charles) Clark, Marsha (Mike) Underwood of Mantachie, Rebecca (Barry) Malone of Dorsey, Cathy Gliatta of Peaceful Valley, and Vicki (Lee) Little of Palmetto; Granddaughters: Candace (Scottie) Edwards, Stephanie (Ray) Taylor, Susan (Jeff) Parker, Linda (Derek) Cason, and Cassie Christian; Grandsons: Chris Christian, Cory (Brandi) Maxwell, and Jonathan Underwood; Great-granddaughters: Lauren Edwards, Alyssa Parker, Rilee Maxwell, Paige Taylor, Hadley Taylor, and Cami Christian; Great-grandsons: Hunter Maxwell, Wayne Lewis Edwards, Alex Parker, Brodie Cason, and Jase Cason; Brothers: L.D. (Mildred) Rock, Junior (Shirley) Rock, David (Alline) Rock, Roy (Diane) Rock, Walter (Donna) Rock, Danny Rock; Sisters: Patsy (Bob) King, Nancy Watson, and Brenda (Doug) Huffman.
Preceded in death by her parents; Sisters: Emma Ruth Rock, Betty Guyton, and Blanch Rock;and a Brother, Elijah Rock.
Pallbearers will be: Brian King, Jeffery King, Matthew Rock, Brandon Guyton, Jonathan Carter, and Jamie Rock.
