Martha McIntosh Ford, age 90, of Greenbrier, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at her home. A graveside service will be held Friday, December 6, 2024 at 3pm in the Springfield Memorial Gardens. Burial will follow with Brandon Ford, Dale Ford, Andy Ford, Chris Ford, David Walker, and Sam Walker serving as pallbearers.
Visitation will be held at the Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 1pm – 2:30pm.
Mrs. Ford was born June 18, 1934 in Robertson County to the late Charles Samuel and Alice Hardin McIntosh. She worked as a seamstress at Nasco and was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Ford is preceded in death by her husband, Raybon Hershel Ford, Sr., brothers, Charles McIntosh, James McIntosh and Don McIntosh, sisters, Elizabeth Carney, Ruth Whitehead and Mary Felts, and her sons, Roger Dale Ford and Charles Richard Ford.
Mrs. Ford is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Sharon Ford of Cottontown, James Ford, Jr. of Greenbrier, and Randy and Pearl Ford of Greenbrier; daughters and son-in-law, Robbin and Rudy Carroll of Springfield and Mary Ford Walker of Springfield; grandchildren, Brandon Ford, Chris Ford, Andy Ford, Melissa Ridner, Dale Ford, Lana Covington, Jennifer Carol, David Walker, and Sammy Walker; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home in Greenbrier is in charge of these arrangements.
