Martha Gresham Jones, 86, of Huntsville, passed away Thursday. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Belton Jones Jr., brother, George William Gresham, and sister, Betty Gresham Patton. She graduated from Coffee High School in 1949. Mrs. Jones enjoyed a long real estate career in Huntsville with Purcell Realty, Landmark, and Ben Porter Realty. Mrs. Jones enjoyed bridge, singing in the church choir and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of First Baptist Church since 1963.
Survivors include her sons, Belton Jones III and wife, Pat Aspinwall Jones, and George Gresham Jones and wife, Tracy Shields Jones; grandchildren, Parker Shields Jones and wife, Sarah, Conner Gresham Jones, Garrett Lawrence Jones and Caroline Olivia Jones; brother, James Howard Gresham; and sister, Marguerite Gresham Smith.
Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Sunday, June 18 at Laughlin Service Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:30 in the chapel with the Rev. Mark Seanor officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
