Funeral service for Martha G. Turney, 73, of Falkville will be Monday, November 11, 2013 at 1:00pm at Faith Independent Church with Bro. James E. Mills, Jr. officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Turney Family and Community Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Turney died on Friday, November 8, 2013 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born August 1, 1940 in Morgan County to Barney L. Maples and Edna Lois Owens Maples. Mrs. Turney was preceded in death by her husband Howard W. Turney, one son Winford R. Turney, three brothers Jamie Maples, Junior Maples and Wayne Maples, two sisters Edna Lawrence and Jewel Whitehead and her parents.
