Martha Frances Donaldson, age 74, of Mt. Hope, passed away on Monday, January 13, 2025, at her residence.
Martha grew up attending Macedonia Baptist Church and later attended Mt. Hope Baptist. She loved working in her flowers when she was able. She loved her family and enjoyed the times with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James & Myrtle (Nelson) Wright; brother, Thomas Lee Wright; sisters, Barbara Nell Bell, Mildred “Betty” Hiddleson; and nephew, Terry Jones.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of 32 years, Billy Donaldson; children, Andrew Treadway (Melissa), Ernest Treadway, Rachel Donaldson, William Donaldson (Samantha); special nephew & nieces, more like brother and sisters, Timmy Jones, Peggy Jones, Sheila Treadway (Alton), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The visitation will be 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Greg Pace officiating the service. The burial will be at Macedonia Baptist Cemetery.
