Martha-Dunn-1449827316Martha Annette Dunn, 80 of Birmingham, formerly of the Arab, Union Grove area died Wednesday, December 9, 2015 in Saint Vincent Medical Center, Birmingham.

Ms Dunn was born January 23, 1935 in Marshall County, the daughter of Ronald and Alverene Culpepper Dunn. She was a graduate of Arab High School; shortly after her graduation she moved to Birmingham and has since 1953 called Birmingham her home. She was an engineer, retiring from A T & T.

She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law: Rosemary and Wayne Washam; nieces and nephews: Tim Dunn, Terri Phillips, Lori Carroll, Keith Dunn, Craig Dunn, David Dunn, Alan Washam and Jeff Washam; two sisters-in-law: Sally Dunn and Marina Dunn and a host of dear friends; preceded in death by her parents: Ronald and Alverene Dunn, three brothers: Billy, Ted and Jerry Wayne Dunn, a sister: Yvonne Dunn and a longtime friend and companion: James E. “Red” Clark.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, Brother Ken Tyler, officiating. Burial will be in Arab Memorial Cemetery, Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Tim Dunn, Keith Dunn, Craig Dunn, David Dunn, Alan Washam and Jeff Washam.

Visitation will be 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
