Martha Ann Bean Hall passed away peacefully on September 1, 2023, in Huntsville, Alabama, at the age of 85. She was born on January 28, 1938, in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Fred and Fostine Bean. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.

Martha grew up on a farm in Number Nine, Arkansas. She attended junior high school in Blytheville where she met Charles Ray Hall Jr. They fell in love almost immediately and became inseparable. Charles and Martha were married in Blytheville in 1957 while both were students at Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas. After Charles graduated, they moved to Memphis, Tennessee where he began his dental training. They moved to Huntsville, Alabama in 1963 where Charles set up his pediatric dental practice which later became Alabama Pediatric Dental Associates.

Martha spent a lot of time traveling to many different places, but her favorite was always Destin, Florida. She spent a lot of time doing word search puzzles on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Guntersville Lake is where she enjoyed working in the flower beds and going on pontoon boat rides. She always knew every flower that existed and exactly where to plant them.

Martha was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. She was loved for her feisty personality and honest opinions. She enjoyed tennis and watching soap operas. She was a lover of Woodbridge Chardonnay.

Martha is survived by her loving husband, Charles Ray Hall Jr.; children, Charles Kevin Hall (Joy), Karen Elizabeth Hall, and Jennifer Hall Lones (Dan); grandchildren, Cortney Blair Jacks, Charles Parker Hall (Evans), Lindsey Elane Jacks, Jesse Anna Reid Hall, and Jacob Welch Watson; sisters, Doris Bean Caldwell and Linda Bean Sullivan; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Fred William Bean; mother, Fostine Godwin Bean; and sister, Mary Lynn Bean Anderson.

The family of Martha Ann Bean Hall will have a private service to honor and celebrate her life.
