Lester O’Neal Harrison, Sr., 75, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at his residence. He was born in Ramer, TN to Lester Travis and Mattie Thornburg Harrison. He worked as a mechanic for many years. He was a member of Grace Community Fellowship Church in Golden. He was also a member of Jeruslam Temple Lodge #90, Aurora Lodge #254 and the Tabatha Shrine Temple.
Funeral services will be Monday, May 20, 3 p.m. at Grace Community Fellowship Church in Golden, MS with Bro. Tony Darracott and Bro. Matthew Haney officiating. Following the funeral service, graveside services will be held at Clover Ridge Cemetery, Fulton, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Belmont, MS will be in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Phyllis Harrison; sons, Neal Harrison, Jr. (Wendy) and Michael Harrison; daughter, Nevaeh Harrison; grandchildren, Christine Rogers (Thomas), Leslie Harrison (Brady), Bubba Harrison (Courtney), Katie Harrison and Amber Harrison; great-grandchildren, Saylor, Dakota and Traeger Tyra; brother, Jerry Walker Harrison (Joyce) and half-sister, Jennie Pearson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, James Lee Harrison.
Pallbearers will be Samuel Darracott, Brent McMillian and Peyton McMillian. Honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Harrison, Neal Harrison and Brady Tyra.
Visitation will be Monday, May 20, 12-3 p.m. at Grace Community Fellowship Church.
