Marshall Dewayne Brooks 71 of Tuscumbia died Saturday Feb. 2, 2013. The family will received friends 4:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday Feb. 5, 2013 at Westside Baptist Church, Tuscumbia. A memorial service will follow 5:00pm Tuesday at the church. Bro. Randy Tanner and Bro. Jeremy Sanderson will officiate.
Mr. Brooks was a native of Tuscumbia and served four years in the Air Force. He was preceded in death by his father Richard Brooks and his mother Laneta Bates.
He is survived by his wife Sue Brooks; sons: Marshall Brooks, Jr. and wife Pam Brooks and Michael Brooks; three granddaughters: Kayla Kastberg, Natalie Brooks, and Ana Brooks; two great-grandchildren: Lydia Kastberg and Ace Kastberg; step-mother Mrs. Leola Brooks.
