ALBERTVILLE-The Marshall County Sheriff’s Department has arrested Krissy Cowen, 53 on Saturday night for the murder of Quill Steven Brigg of Albertville. This murder stems from the investigation of a domestic violence situation.
Sheriff Phl Sims statement concerning the murder:
“Last night, December 30, deputies responded to a residence on Tick Duckett Road in the Martling area in reference to a deceased individual.
Further investigation revealed this is a domestic violence related incident between the deceased individual and a woman.
Investigators have charged Krissy Cowen with murder related to domestic violence. She remains in the county jail under no bond.
This remains an active investigation and more details could be released as they become available. Members of the Marshall County Coroner’s Office , Marshall County District Attorney’s Office, Asbury Volunteer Fire responded to the scene.”
