Marlon Oras Wakefield, age 77, of Haleyville, AL. passed away Friday August 15, 2025. He was the owner of M & M Custom Rods and Restoration in Haleyville, AL. and a member of The First Baptist Church in Haleyville, AL.
Visitation will be Monday August 18, 2025 from 1:00PM – 2:00PM at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville, AL. Funeral service at 2:00PM in the chapel, with his grandson Cody Wakefield and Dr. Nathan Carroll officiating. Burial to follow in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sandra Wakefield; children, Shane (Heather) Wakefield and Amber (Brad) Taylor; sister, Elaine (Warren) Miller; grandchildren, Cody (Aly) Wakefield and Liam Taylor; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Oras and Dean Wakefield.
