Marlene Ann Kashefska

Marlene Ann Kashefska , 68, of Owens Cross Roads, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2015. She was born in East St. Louis, IL, educated in Loiusville, IL. and was formerly of Decatur, IL. She is preceded in death by her father, George Kessler and sister, Myra Tucker. She is survived by her mother, Helen Davison; husband of 33 years, Paul Kashefska; son, Bret Dawkins (Alice); daughter, Dana DeCarlo (Michael); 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brothers, Michael, Ernie and Terry Smith and sister, Gwendolyn Beard. Her memorial service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, January 26, 2015 at Covenant Presbyterian Church where she was a member. Interment will be held in Decatur, IL in April. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Covenant Presbyterian Church of Huntsville “Kids for Camp”.
