Marjorie Reed, age 95, of Muscle Shoals, died Monday, November 26, 2018. The family will receive friends for visitation on Thursday, November 29, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. A second visitation will be Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. at Rock Springs Presbyterian Church, Mt. Hope. A service to celebrate her life will follow at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Reed was born on March 3, 1923, in Mt. Hope to the late Benny Clay and Velma Smith Roberson. She was a retired school teacher and a member of Rock Springs Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Reed is preceded in death by her husband, Frank Reed; siblings, Kyle Roberson, Vernon Roberson, and Ruby Price; and granddaughter, Leanna Reed Clemmons.
Survivors include sons, Stan Reed (Shari) and Jim Reed (Susan); grandchildren, David Reed (Kacey), Scott Reed, and Marcie Lovvorn (Tab); and great grandchildren, Jordan Miller, Arden, Hadley, & Lindy Reed, and Tait, Maryn, Shepherd, & Mercy Lovvorn.
Pallbearers include David Reed, Scott Reed, Jordan Miller, Tab Lovvorn, Tait Lovvorn, and Bob Roberson.
