Marjorie G. Moon, 94, of Harvest died Saturday at her home. She was born in Hooker, Oklahoma to Hugh and Antha Grizzard. Marjorie moved to Madison County as a child and attended Riverton School, graduating in 1939. She married O.C. Moon in 1942 and began her life as a farm wife on their farm in Harvest. She was a member of Ford Chapel United Methodist Church. Marjorie was a loving wife, mother and kind friend to all who knew her.
Marjorie was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 61 years, O.C. Moon, brothers, Willard, Lawrence, Harry and Howard Grizzard, and sister, Elizabeth Christenson, all of Huntsville.
Survivors include daughter, Judi Moon of Huntsville; son, Rodney Moon and wife Virginia, of Harvest; sister, Virginia Voekel of Huntsville; nephew, Ira Adams of Huntsville; and special care giver, Doris Freeman.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 3rd at Maple Hill Cemetery with Chaplain Anthony Ford officiating.
