James Edward “Jake” Wilson, 91, of Burnsville, Mississippi, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, at Tishomingo Manor Nursing Home. Mr. Wilson attended Berea Church of Christ, and was a retired logger. He enjoyed working on small engines. Visitation is scheduled for 5:00 until 9:00 p.m., Monday, June 2, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 3, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka, officiated by Bro. Franky Smith. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by one son, David Wilson (Debra) of Iuka; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hester Lovelace Wilson; and a son, Edward Wilson. Memorial contributions may be made to Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
