Marie Haskins King, age 75, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 6, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 9, from noon until 2 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Thomas Thornton officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. She was a member of the Nitrate City Baptist Church and the Tea Party organization. She was a beloved Sunday school teacher and bus ministry driver for 40 years.
Survivors are her children, Kathryn King, Don King, and Keith King; sisters, Willidean Haskins, Joyce Conner, and Patricia McWilliams; brothers, Charles Haskins and Steve Haskins; and grandchildren, Cody King, Ava King, and Sophia King.
