Marie Ann Wilson, age 86, of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at her residence.
Marie was born August 2, 1934, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Charles and Lillie Rubino. She was a store clerk at Town and Country for many years until her retirement. Marie was a devoted and loving wife. She was a follower of Christ, a loving grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all. Marie loved fiercely, and was loved by many. In addition to her parents, Marie was preceded in death by her husband, Larry White; three sons, Dale Smith, Steve Smith, and Kenny White; her grandson, Brian Smith; her brother, Frank Rubino; and one step-son, Timmy Wilson.
There will be a graveside service only Friday, July 30, at 10:00 AM, at Furnace Hill, with James Godsey officiating.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Wilson; one son, Chuck (Charlon) White, her daughter-in-law, Lisa Smith; two step-sons, Bobby Wilson and Robbie (Desiree) Wilson; eight grandchildren, Eric (Mandy) Smith, Jeremy White, Kristen (Cory) Whitford, Kenlyn White, Wendy White, Preston (Alex) White, Steven (MaKayla) White, and Gracie White; four step-grandchildren, Jeremy (Amy) Wilson, Tammy Golden, Nicole Wilson, and Heather Wilson; 12 great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
