Margaret Leonna GoffMargaret Leonna Goff, 74, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, July 27, 2021. She passed away peacefully at Lakeview Place in Mantachie, MS, surrounded by her family and loved ones.

Margaret was born October 26, 1946, to the late Clovis and Edna Mae Allred in Tupelo, MS as one of six children. She helped her late husband, Buddy Goff, manage his businesses, Goff Electric and Plumbing and Goff Back-Hoe Services, for 38 years. Margaret was also a homemaker who loved taking care of everyone around her and making them feel special. Her favorite things to do were going to yard sales, playing cards with her sisters, and spoiling her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Being an avid lover of gospel music, Margaret sang every time she got the chance and enjoyed praising the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Clarence “Buddy” Goff, two brothers, George Allred and James Allred, and a granddaughter, Melissa Vanlandingham.

Survivors include three sisters, Edna Ruth Dobbs of Fulton, MS, Grace Bailey of Guntown, MS, Nancy Graham (Eddy) of Mantachie, MS; two daughters, Suzanne Roberts of Tupelo, MS, Lisa Murphree (Alan) of Hamilton, MS; four sons, Phillip Goff (Patty) of Tupelo, MS, Tim Vanlandingham of Tupelo, MS, Troy Vanlandingham of Tupelo, MS, Paul Goff (Meschelle) of Murfreesboro, TN; 17 grandchildren ; 30 great grandchildren.

A celebration of her life and faith will be announced at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeview Place Alzheimer’s Facility, 145 Watson Drive Mantachie, MS 38855.
