Maria Favela De Cruz, age 77 of Fort Payne, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at her residence. She was born in Mexico to the late Jose & Zenonita Avalos Favela.
Funeral Mass will be 7 p.m., Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. The family will have a visitation on Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home and on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. A graveside service will follow at 12:30 p.m. at Glenwood Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Manuel Cruz; children, Leodegario Cruz, Rose Ma Cruz, Eva Cruz, Manuel Cruz, Salome Cruz, Maria S. Cruz, Ma Felix Cruz, and Manuel de J. Cruz; brother, Mauricio Favela; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
