Margie Marie Jackson, 83, of Rogersville, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015 at ECM Hospital. She was a member of Rogersville Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow immediately in the chapel with Alex Bayes officiating. Burial will be in Wallace Cemetery. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her parents, Alvie and Eula Raney; husband, Countis Jackson; daughter, Susan Whitfield; son, Countis Lynn Jackson, stepson, Doyce “Buck” Jackson. She is survived by her children, Shirley Emery, Virginia McKelvey, Deborah Thompson, Corrine (Richard) Morris, Turner Jackson; stepchildren, James Jackson, Robert Jackson and Annette Davis; sister, Ethel Bollen; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a great-great-grandchild.
