Jean was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of Tuscumbia, Robert Hudson Sunday School Class, and Helen Keller Garden Club District 1, and she also served on the FUMC Administrative Board and the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was a faithful confidant to her family and many friends. She dedicated her life to caring for her husband, children, and grandchildren spiritually, emotionally and physically. Her love will be irreplaceable, making her homegoing a painful experience for those left behind. The Legacy of Love she and Walter shared will continue through the years.
Up until a few months ago, she could be seen visiting shut-ins, nursing homes, and assisted living.
She sent cards and ministered to the sick and bereaved. She was the epitome of a Shepherd’s Heart.
