Margaret Violet Hurley, 79, of Huntsville Alabama passed away on May 31, 2024.

She was born in September 1944 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and grew up in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada.  After marrying and starting a family, she moved to several cities in multiple provinces across Canada.  She eventually moved to the southern US and called Decatur, Alabama home for over 30 years.  She had an extensive career as an R.N. that spanned over four decades. She returned to school in her late fifties to add a bachelor’s Degree in Behavioral Science.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents Charles Hurley and Violet (Kelley) Hurley, her husband Thomas Bradley, and her granddaughter Makaila Hyatt.  She is survived by her sisters Elizabeth Strangways, Catherine Salzer, and Barbara Hurley, her daughters Kelley Bradley (John Riley Jr) and Teresa (Bradley) Hyatt (Brian Hyatt) and two grandchildren Noelle Hyatt and Reese Hyatt.

An interment will take place at St. John’s Episcopal Church in Decatur, Alabama.
