Margaret Parrish Del Toro Profile PhotoMargaret Parrish Del Toro passed away on November 29, 2024 in Columbia, Tennessee, at the age of 81. Margaret was born on November 6, 1943, in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee, to the late John Edward and Evelyn Lacy Parrish.

Margaret had a deep love for quilting, which she expressed through her tireless dedication as an avid member of the Maury Quilting Guild. Her talent was evident in the numerous quilts she crafted, many of which were hand-stitched with immense care and skill. She was also a valued member of the Monday Quilters Group at St. Peters Episcopal Church.

For nearly 30 years, Margaret lived in Puerto Rico, a chapter of her life where she met her husband, Ramon Del Toro, and welcomed her son, Erick. This period, infused with rich cultural experiences, shaped her family values and strengthened her unique understanding of life’s vibrant tapestry.

Margaret is survived by her daughters, Laura Simmons and Leslie Delgado-Rader; her daughter-in-law, Jody Mills Del Toro; and her grandchildren, John and Liam Delgado-Rader; and her sister, Carolyn Sims.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Edward Parrish and Evelyn Lacy Parrish; her husband, Ramon Del Toro; and her son, Erick Del Toro.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
