A Celebration of Life Service for Margaret “Margie” Fields Young 93, is set for 2:00 pm Tuesday at Fraley’s Chapel church of Christ with Brad Young, G. W. Childs, Ricky Fields and John Vines officiating. Burial will follow in the Fraley’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
Margie died December 24, 2021 at NMMC Iuka. She was born October 29, 1928 in Alcorn Co. MS. to the late Mansel and Eunice Fields. She was a lifelong member of Fraley’s Chapel church of Christ, where she was baptized in 1942 at the age of 14. She worked mostly as a teacher at Kendrick Head Start, she enjoyed going to auctions, word puzzles, cooking for her family, but her pride and joy is her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeff Young; parents; brothers, Leon Fields (Virginia), Lamar Fields, Kenneth Young (Marcell).
She is survived by her sons, Phillip Young (Joan), Tim Young (Lisa); grandchildren, Clay Young (Molly), Phillip Young, Brad Young (Elizabeth), Bryce Young; great grandchildren, Cooper Young, John Mark Young, Joanna Young; brother-in-law, Gene Young; sister-in-law, Carolyn Fields; host of other family and friends.

Family will receive friends Tuesday from 12:00 pm to service time.
