She was preceded in death by her parents, William Lee Thomas and Julia Hallie Cooper Thomas; husband, Billy Hugh Franklin; sister, Katherine Britt; and son-in-law, Ramsey Davis.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Davis of Columbia, SC; son, Billy Franklin (Missy) of Starkville, MS; grandchildren, Steve Davis, Stacey Davis, Stephanie Phalen (Bill), Stuart Davis, Melanie Davis, Madeline Davis, Lindsey Frazure (Chase), and Morgan Wilkerson; numerous great grandchildren; sister, Edith Hollis of Starkville, MS and brother W.L. Thomas, Jr. (Elizabeth) of Columbia, SC.
Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, June 30, 2021 from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Welch Funeral Home in Starkville, MS, with the funeral service immediately following. Dr. Grant Arinder will conduct the service. Burial will be in Memorial Garden Park Cemetery in Starkville.
