Margaret Jean Bannister age 95 of Huntsville, AL passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024 at her residence.
Born February 11, 1929 in Guin, AL she is the daughter of the late Joe Albert and Minnie Lou Weeks Howe and the wife of the late Clayton Lamar Bannister. She had lived in Huntsville most of her life and had retired as Deputy Director Scientific Information Center at Redstone Arsenal. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Huntsville.
She is survived by A Daughter, Allison McCormick (Tim) of Athens, AL, A Son Mark Bannister, (Chrissie) of Huntsville, AL, 5 Grandchildren, Scott McCormick (Lauren), Shelly Haney (Adam), Tyler McCormick, (Elizabeth), Elizabeth Scissum, (Kiyoshi), and Emily Cathcart, (Ben), and 7 Great Grandchildren, Eleanor, Lawson, and Marion McCormick, Peyton Haney, Sabine and Kana Scissum and Xander Cathcart.
Graveside Services held Sunday, July 14, 2024 at 2:00 PM from the Guin City Cemetery with Bro. Shannon Knight officiating.
