Margaret Helen Sanders McClure, 84, of Toney, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.
She was born on Monday, July 22, 1940, in Fayetteville, Tennessee to the late Mr. William Etheridge and Mrs. Celia Reed Etheridge.
She was of the Christian Faith and enjoyed taking care of her family. Mrs. Margaret enjoyed spending her free time fishing and being outdoors.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, James Claude Sanders, as well as one daughter, Celia Lee Sanders Billingsly.
She is survived by her husband, William Leonard McClure, two sons; James (Karen) Sanders and Claude Sanders, seven Grandchildren: Kelley (Zachary) Jensen, Marcus (Deana) Sanders, Stephanie (Michael) McAllister, Brooke Billingsly, Jordan Waldo, Kaitlyn (Travi) Boyett, and Morgan Sanders, ten Great-Grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, AL, beginning at 2:00 PM with Pastor Linda Claunch officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery, located in Toney, AL.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
