James “Dell” Lewter, 69, of Ardmore, Alabama passed away on February 11, 2025, at his residence in Ardmore, Alabama.
James was born on Friday, December 16, 1955, to Mr. Gilbert Lewter and Mrs. Ava Lynn Hasting Lewter in Alabama
Dell spent his life in Ardmore, Alabama. He was of the Baptist Faith.
James enjoyed it when his family would all get together. He loved his family along with his pets.
Mr. Lewter was preceded in death by both of his parents, stepfather Ronald Haney, grandfather Alis “Heck” Hasting, and one nephew, Mark Lewter
Dell is survived by one brother; Randy “Sleepy” (Martha) Lewter of Ardmore, Alabama, one stepbrother, Mark Haney, one half-sister; Kimberly Reyers of Miami, Florida, two stepsisters: Debra Parker and Pam Childers, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home in Ardmore, Alabama on Monday, February17, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 NOON. A chapel service will follow directly afterwards at 12:00 NOON. Burial will follow in Hasting Cemetery. Bro. Heath Haney will officiate the service.
Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home will be assisting the family with services.
