Born Friday, July 10, 1953 in Athens, Alabama, he was the son of the late Charles Edward Clem and the late Ellen Mae Young Clem. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He enjoyed golf, bowling, and spending time with family.
Surviving are his wife: Janet Clem of Athens, AL, daughter: Jennifer Frame, Taft, TN, step-sons: Shane Whitaker of Toney, AL and Christopher Shawn Whitaker ot Somerville, AL, step-daughter: Vanessa Lynn Waters of Trinity, AL, sister, Ann Martin of Ardmore, AL, grandchildren: Hayley, Shiann, Brandy, and Jace, nephews: Jason and Justin and a niece: Dawn.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 27, 2016, at Ardmore Chapel Funeral Home, Ardmore, Alabama with Bro. David England officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ardmore, AL.
