Michaela Cooper
FULTON, MS-Michaela Cooper of Mantachie, sophomore at Itawamba Community College, has been selected as the recipient of the Distinguished Chapter Officer award from Phi Theta Kappa.
The award was presented at the organization’s Louisiana/Mississippi regional conference recently at Mississippi State University.
Cooper is a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Indian Delegation, Jazz Band and Wind Band and editor of the Chieftain at ICC. Her honors include Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Silver Scholar, vice president of Leadership for PTK, All-Mississippi Academic Team (second team), journalism award, Hall of Fame and Who’s Who Among Students in American Junior and Community Colleges. Cooper’s additional activities include Mantachie Food Pantry and Harrisburg Zamar Student Choir. She is majoring in nutrition and dietetics for physical therapy. Her parents are Steve and Lisa Cooper.
