Johnnie Monroe Garrett, age 73 of Tuscumbia, died Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Visitation will be Friday, 12-2 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Jerry Self officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Garrett was a Colbert County native and a member of Littleville Church of Christ. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary Garrett; and brothers, Robert and Joseph Garrett.
He is survived by his wife; Mary Garrett; children; Kim Smith, Johanna Mize (Keith), Sandra Bishop (Randall), Misty Biggs, Johnnie M. Garrett II (Debbie), Robert Garrett (Bernadine) and Daren Garrett (Tammy); brother, Jimmy Garrett; sister, Geneva Rainey; and twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Zachary Mize, Colby Pyle, Aaron Bishop, Derek Bishop, Mick McMullen and Johnnie Garrett III.
