FLORENCE-A Florence man is back behind bars, accused of stealing a truck and trailer. Here is how the Florence Police Depatment describe events leading up to and including the arrest:
“Local Man Back Behind Bars; Eric Jerome Vaughn, 51, of Florence was arrested this morning after being stopped by Muscle Shoals Police in a stolen truck with a stolen trailer. The truck was reported stolen on 07/20/14 from Houston Street in Florence.
Additionally, Vaughn was charged in two local business burglaries (D&D Market and Lil’ Steve’s on Cloverdale Rd). Investigators stated that Vaughn was captured on video during the two burglaries. Vaughn was arrested in April and charged with three business burglaries. He was out of jail on bond during the latest string of crimes.
