Mamie Sue Elliott, 81 of Double Springs, passed away February 23, 2023 at Walker Baptist Medical Center.
She was born in Moulton, Alabama on January 22, 1942. Sue was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Double Springs.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 26, 2023 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at First Baptist Church of Double Springs, where the service will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023 at 2:00pm. Brother Phillip Twilley will officiate. Burial will follow at Double Springs Memorial Gardens.
Sue is survived by her son, Richard D. Elliott II and wife Vickie; daughter, Pamela Elliott Zeedar and husband JJ; grandson, Justin Patton and wife Emily; granddaughters, Meghan Fazekas and husband Michael, Delaney Gist and husband Noah, and Lilly Zeedar; great grandchildren, Hudson Carroll Patton, Lily Adams, Luke Milligan, and Raiden Patton; brothers, Robert Junior Parrish and wife Kathy, Jimmy Parrish and wife Peggy, Roger Parrish and wife Jeanette, and Gabriel Parrish and wife Dorothy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard D. Elliott; parents, Odie R. Parrish and Lillian N. Warren Parrish; sister, Betty Parrish Waldrop; and brothers, Bobby Lee Parrish, and Wayne Parrish.
