Mal Sun Wales, 68 of Guntersville, Scant City, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at Huntsville Hospital. She was born September 22, 1957 in South Korea, the daughter of Chung Wong Bong and Her Ma Lee.
She is survived by her husband: Johnny Michael Wales; daughters: Rebecca Harrison (Tim) and Mary Rose (Josh); grandchildren: Ana Thomas, Luke Hayes, Grady Harrison, Mason Harrison, Kyndal Schultz and Kaycee Schultz.
The family has chosen cremation with no formal service. Gober Funeral Chapel assisted the Wales family with cremation arrangements.
