Maebelle Marks Winkles, 90, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday. Mrs. Winkles graduated from Huntsville High School in 1949 and was a charter member of Hillsboro Heights Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Oliver Marks and Katie Biggs Marks, husband, Ernest L. “Bud” Winkles, brothers, Robert, David, Lee, James Emmitt, W.E. “Vernon”, and Percy Marks, and sisters, Kathryn “Bonnie” Marks Cooke and Lucas Marks Ward.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 28 at Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
