Madelyn Scott Hamby, age 86, Jacksonville, Al (formerly of Franklin County, Alabama) passed away on Wednesday, July 10, 2013. The visitation will be from 12-2 pm, Saturday, July 13, 2013 prior to the 2 pm funeral service in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Heath Sutherland officiating. Interment will be in Old Line Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, Unzell W. Hamby; parents, R.C. & Henrietta Steward Scott;; siblings, Lottie B. Croucher, Calvin C. Scott, Marveleen Scott Hindes, Grady Scott, Adelle Scott, Amos Scott. She is survived by daughter, Patricia Hamby Haithcock; son, Roger & Paula Hamby; sister, Willow Dean Scott Snyder; grandchildren, Housten Haithcock, Frank Haithcock, Wyatt Hamby, Jamie Hamby; great grandchildren, Madison Hamby, Ashleigh Haithcock, Henry Haithcock, Alex Haithcock, Kathlyn Haithcock. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
