It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Mack Soileau, who went to be with the Lord July 23,2026.
Born August 12, 1953 in Port Barre, Louisiana, Mack lived a life marked by kindness, dedication and love for his wife, family and friends. Mack was most known for his Christian faith, his musical talents, his love of LSU football, his knowledge of cars and the stories he would tell.
Mack is survived by his wife Jackie Soileau of Falkville, AL his children Jennifer Soileau of Lafayette, LA, Janet Soileau of Opelousas, LA, his son’s Brandon Ball of Addison, AL and Austin Ball of Hartselle, AL. His grandchildren, Naomi and Nicholas Shuemaker of Lafayette, LA and Victoria Brown of Leonville, LA. His mother Eula Mae Soileau of Opelousas, Two sisters Justine (Gordan) Harris of Virginia, Christine Soileau of Youngsville. two brothers Elrrol (Virginia) Soileau and Scott Soileau both of Opelousas, LA. And a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his Maternal and Faternal Grandparents and his Father Wilson “Smiley” Soileau.
Those who knew Mack will remember him for his passion for life, taking shortcuts in a roadtrip and his contagious laugh.
Mack leaves behind a legacy of love, compassion and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of everyone that loved him.

Funeral Service for Mack Anthony Soileau, age 72 of Falkville, will be at 2:00 PM on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home with Rev. James Burnham officiating; burial at Union Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM-2:00 PM on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home.
