Funeral service for Mable Mary Whitten Brown age 86 of Hartselle will be Monday, December 1, 2014 at 2:30pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brad Sheets officiating with burial in the Hartselle City Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 12:30 until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Brown, who died on Saturday, November 29, 2014 in Hartselle, was born July 14, 1928 in Marion County to Marvin and Dora Revis Whitten. She was a cook at Falkville Nursing Home and was preceded in death by her husband; William Dewey Brown.
She is survived by 2 sons; David Brown of Arley and Michael Brown of Canada, 2 daughters; Deborah Woods of Hartselle and Brenda Welch of Crane Hill, 1 sister; Willadean Hall of Birmingham. 14 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren.
Quinn Woods, Chad Welch, Nicholas Bails, Heath Taylor, Michael Welch and Samuel Miller will serve as pallbearers.
