Mabel Frances Coan – Obituary

Funeral service for Mabel Frances Coan, 83, of Moulton will be Friday, November 29, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home Chapel with Rena Payne officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Methodist Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Coan, who died Monday, November 25, 2013, at Huntsville Hospital, was born April 3, 1930, in Franklin County to the late Jesse Earl Britnell and Martha Ann Elizabeth McKay Britnell. She was a member of Mount Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Alton Lanace Coan; one son, Randal Coan (Carmalita) of Mount Hope; two daughters, Judy Blankenship (Sonny) of Moulton and Anita Cantrell (Johnny) of Town Creek; one brother, Gresham Britnell of Mount Hope; two sisters, Mildred Anderton of Town Creek and Mavis Hopkins of Springville; three grandsons, Jesse Coan, Cody Cantrell and Dylan Blankenship; three granddaughters, April Kilpatrick (Sean), Sarah Coan and Mariah Cantrell; and two great-grandchildren, Bradyn Kilpatrick and Lexi Kilpatrick.

Pallbearers will be Jesse Coan, Cody Cantrell, Dylan Blankenship, Sean Kilpatrick, Joe Britnell, Kenley Britnell and Douglas Britnell.
