Dewey Odell, 72, of Town Creek, died Nov. 24, 2013, at his residence. His funeral will be Friday, Nov. 29, 2013, at 1 at Jackson Memory Funeral Home, with Brother Hollis Rutherford and Scotty Brackin officiating. Burial will follow in Black Ground Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11 until 1 just prior to the funeral.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Odell; one son, Bobby Odell; three daughters, Vickey Franks, Patsy Peebles (Joey), and Conny Roberson; five grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren. Dewey was the son of Leslie and Kate Odell. He retired from Nichol’s Aluminum. He was a member of First Assembly of God
