_MG_7450 copyFLORENCE – It was 20 years ago that Lyons HR opened for business in an 800 square-foot office in Florence. Bill Lyons and Company held a ribbon cutting Wednesday in front of their new corporate office building on South Court Street. The building is the former First National Bank, home now to SunTrust Bank. Lyons HR completed the purchase of the property last year and has busy remodeling and repurposing the property into a business showcase.

Turnout was great. Business and community leaders from The Shoals turned out to congratulate the company. Indeed, Former Alabama Governor Bob Riley came up to congratulate Lyons HR on its remarkable success story. Riley, who is now out of government and manages  private business enterprises, operates as a consultant for Lyons HR.

The Quad-Cities Daily was on hand to capture the day in EVENT PHOTOS. We present them here.
