Lynx Quicksilver, born Lynn Sheffield in Joppa, Scotland in 1943,
passed away peacefully Thursday night.
Lynx was fluent in many languages and received a Masters Degree in Middle Eastern
Studies from Harvard University after graduating from Sarah Lawrence. She wore many hats: astrologer, singer/song-writer, piano tuner and more.
Lynx’s religion was perhaps best described by a single word that she chose as answer to that question in her musical bio: “Kindness.” She was well known for spoiling her many pets and buying jewelry for her life partner, Kathleen. She leaves behind many devoted friends as well as her life partner Kathleen Bucher.
