Lynda Richey Lankford, 70 of Toney, Alabama died on Friday, March 1, 2013, at her home.
Born Tuesday, September 29, 1942 in Groveoak, Alabama, she was the daughter of the late John Richey and the late Opal Hood Richey. She was a member of Community Baptist Church and was a loving, nurturing wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to shop.
Surviving are her husband: Cuz Lankford of Toney, AL, son, David Richey (Samantha) Morrow of Huntsville, AL, daughters, Candice (Harvey) Fest of Athens, AL, Keri (Mike) Sandlin of Decatur, AL, and Cynthia (Tim) Allen of Minooka, IL and grandchildren: Tyler Fest, Allison Fest, Taylor Morrow, Sydney Morrow, Eli Morrow, Max Morrow, Emily Burnett, Sarah Burnett, Abigail Sandlin, Amy Allen, Irena Allen, Samuel Allen, Anastasia Allen, and Seth Allen.
Memorial Services will be on Monday, March 4, 2013, at 7:00 PM at Community Baptist Church with Bro. Charles Jones and Bro. Steve Hargrove officiating.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Monday, March 4, 2013, at Community Baptist Church, Ardmore, Alabama.
Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at Dekalb Memorial Gardens, Geraldine, AL.
