On September 25, 2026, Louise Parker Robinson passed away peacefully in her home. Louise was born on January 28, 1931, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Katie Parker Williams and William Howard Patterson. She graduated from Oak Ridge High School in 1949 then returned to Birmingham where she met her husband, John Robinson. They were married for sixty-five years and had three daughters.
After raising her girls, Louise returned to work as a secretary at Farley Elementary School. Her years at Farley brought her great joy. She developed lifelong friends and made a lasting impact on the students and families she encountered there. Louise loved cooking, playing bridge, gardening and spending time with her prayer group. Gathering with family around a delicious meal and playing family games brought great delight and created many treasured memories. Louise was a faithful woman and a loving mother. She loved her children deeply and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought her immeasurable joy.
Louise spent her final days surrounded by her family and dear friends. She was blessed by the wonderful care she received from Tree, Mary and Liz. Their compassion, kindness, and friendship brought comfort and peace to Louise and her family.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Robinson; her brother, Donald Patterson; her daughter, Laura Harrison; and her granddaughter, Lauren Kirkley.
Louise is survived by her daughters, Susan Robinson Konstant (George) of Auburn, Alabama, and Ann Robinson Laue (Bryan) of Huntsville, Alabama; seven grandchildren, Reed Harrison, John Konstant, David Konstant, Isabella Ciangi, Thomas George Konstant, Parker Laue and Spencer Laue; and nine beautiful great-grandchildren.
A family service will be held to celebrate Louise’s life and honor the beautiful legacy of faith she leaves with her family. Memorials can be made to Huntsville Learning Center at hsvlc.org.
