Mrs. Louise Moore Mulliniks, age 101, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, died early Tuesday morning, January 7, 2025, at Highlands Medical Center in Scottsboro, Alabama, after a short illness.

Mrs. Mulliniks, formerly a resident of Lewisburg, Tennessee, was a member of Church Street Church of Christ in Lewisburg.

She was born April 10, 1923, in Delina, Tennessee, where she lived most of her life. She was a longtime member of Delina Church of Christ where she was a Sunday School teacher. She devoted her life to making a peaceful home where she loved and cared for her family. She showed everyone around her the love of God by her beautiful example.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 71 years, C.W. Mulliniks; her parents, Deece and Ethel Moore; three sisters, Melba Morrison, Catherine Wise, and Ruth Baker; and sons-in-law Tommy Massey and Billie Stiles.

She is survived by her three children, Terry Mulliniks (Annette) of Mt. Juliet, Tennessee, Joe Mulliniks (Linda), of Petersburg, Tennessee, and Vara Stiles, of Scottsboro, Alabama; eight grandchildren, Renee Taylor (Ron), Craig Mulliniks, Matt Mulliniks (Allison), Sandy Faires (Eric), Michelle King (Greg), Kerrie Flowers (Jim), Tracy Edmonson (Robert), and Jeff Stiles; great-grandchildren, Anna Flatt (Daniel), Jesse Mulliniks (Franciely), Tara Taylor, Jasmine Taylor, Hunter Edmonson, Olivia Bridges (Jacob), Callyn Mulliniks, Hannah Edmonson, Abigail Flowers, Joseph Mulliniks, Drew Edmonson, Ella Faires, Annabelle Mulliniks, Colleen King, and Garrett David Faires; six great-great-grandchildren, Grady Flatt, Orry Flatt, Sonny Flatt, Palmer Trembley, Banks Trembley, and Walter Bridges; and several nieces and nephews who were very special to her.

She was known and loved by all for her gentle and quiet spirit. She was a talented seamstress, making clothes for herself and others, who in her later years enjoyed creating works of art with her crewel embroidery. Her family loved her dearly, and we will all miss her kind words and her sweet smile.

Visitation with the family will be held from 9:00-11:00 a.m. Thursday, January 9, 2025, at London Funeral Home, 324 West Church St., Lewisburg, Tennessee. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Mark Massey officiating. Burial will be in Medium Cemetery, Delina, Tennessee. London Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Matt Mulliniks, Craig Mulliniks, Greg King, Eric Faires, Jim Flowers, and Robert Edmonson. Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Mulliniks, Jesse Mulliniks, Hunter Edmonson, Drew Edmonson, and Garrett David Faires.
